Yes! We’re happy to support tax-exempt purchases. To get started, create a customer account on our website if you haven’t already. Then email support@back2schoolexpress.com with your account name, email address, and completed tax-exempt form. Once we’ve reviewed and approved your documentation, we’ll update your account so all future purchases are automatically tax-exempt.

Some of our items arrive ready to go right out of the box, while others require assembly. Be sure to check the product page for specific assembly details and instructions.

Our goal is to fulfill orders quickly, so we can not guarantee we will be able to make the requested change to your order after it has been placed. That said, please email us at support@back2schoolexpress.com and we’ll see what we can do!

While we don’t currently offer a specific military discount, you can create an account and subscribe to our newsletter to receive a 10% off code for your first purchase. It’s our way of saying thank you and helping you get started with Back2School Express.

Shipping and Returns

We partner with trusted national carriers and local delivery services to get your order to you safely and efficiently. The carrier may vary based on your location and the size of your shipment.

We know you’re excited to set up your space, so we aim to ship within 1–2 business days after your order is placed. With fulfillment centers across the U.S., we work hard to get your items to you quickly—though shipping times may vary slightly depending on the carrier.

Orders with multiple items or larger products may ship in separate boxes and could arrive at different times.

At this time, we only ship within the contiguous 48 states. If you're located elsewhere, we’re happy to ship your order to a U.S.-based freight forwarder of your choice who can help get your items to you.

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery. In some cases, buyers may be responsible for return shipping and restocking fees, depending on the condition of the item when it’s received. If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturer defect, return shipping is on us.

Cleaning and Care

Before using your new Back2School Express product, we recommend wiping it down with mild soap and water, then dry completely. Regular cleaning goes a long way and helps keep your product safe and ready for whatever the day brings.

Before placing your new soft play items on the floor, clean and dry the area completely.

To clean, use a sponge or cloth with mild soap and water and dry completely before using or stowing away. We ask that you refrain from using abrasive cleaning solutions. For smaller spills, wipe them up as they happen with a dry cloth.

The water-resistant faux-leather cover is designed to withstand all kinds of messes, but we do not recommend removing the foam insert as it can be difficult to replace. Do not machine wash or iron. Place in warm sun for an hour or so to remove wrinkles.

Crafted from sustainably sourced birch plywood, our wood products feature a durable, scratch-resistant finish that protects the surface from daily wear. A UV inhibitor helps prevent discoloration for long-lasting quality.
